We lived for three years about 50 miles from Boston,Mass. and I remember big snows like this. I love to look at it but I don't want to have to clean the side walk. Love the picture of the bird! I would be happy if we got our little snow in Tennessee.
This started out as the archive blog for my original blog over at the News-Messenger under the auspices of then City Editor, Eric Lawrence. Times change, Eric's gone, and though I still maintain the original Desktop Genealogist, I have more subscribers to this, my "archive" blog, then the original. Go figure!
So welcome to the Desktop Genealogist Unplugged. Pull up a chair, kick off your shoes, and enjoy. It's pretty informal around here!

Caption for the 3rd photo (the cardinal): WTF?
Glad I'm not there...our snow turned to slushy goo after a couple of inches.
Harriet, where can I box some up and send it to you???? :)
Donna, you bet that cardinal was saying WTF! At least it is better than the ice turned snow mess that they had a little to our south. That's the pits!
